The cottage was beautifully decorated with stunning artwork and had comfortable seating areas. The hosts were easily reachable and provided information on recommended restaurants. The location was excellent, close to the town, Petworth House and Park, as well as a nearby Co-op for essentials.
There were some issues during our stay. The top room bed was very uncomfortable with springs poking up, and there was a wait of about five minutes for hot water in the shower.

The location was super convenient, right across from a historic house and the gorgeous deer park. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the beds and settees were so comfortable. We loved having ensuites for both bedrooms, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the historic charm and the pet-friendly policy, just what I needed! And the location was fantastic, with Chichester Cathedral and Goodwood Racecourse easily accessible.
Oh, how delightful it was to have springs poking into my back in the top room bed! Just the kind of soothing massage I was looking for.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cottage in Petworth. The cottage had a cozy and historic ambiance that added to the overall charm of the place. I was particularly delighted to find that it was pet-friendly, allowing me to bring my furry friend along on the trip. The location of the cottage was perfect, situated opposite Petworth House and the beautiful deer park.
Although there were a few minor issues, such as the wifi not working and some small appliances needing repairs, they did not significantly impact our stay. The road outside could be a bit noisy, but it didn't bother us once we were prepared for it.
